A student gave me this at the end of last week, wrapped in tartan paper with a handwritten note. Inside was a small plaque that simply read:
“Difference Maker – someone who makes a difference in the lives of others.”
Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in exam results and deadlines. But moments like this remind me that education is about more than just grades; it’s about encouragement, mentorship, and helping someone believe in themselves.
